The point you become hoggish, and hope to get "lucky", is the day you give away all of your cash. Seems a little absurd, but it appears to be real. It seems the only time I ever amass money is when I do not worry about blowing it. I went to the the casino the other evening with $20 in cashin my pocket. I couldn't care less about squandering it, I mean, what is 20 dollars? So can you imagine what happened? I ended up leaving with $120 in profit in 2 hours!

A different occassion I was at the casino with my buddy Matt. I took in one hundred dollars that I could not afford to lose. I got hoggish, I got scared, and I ended up wagering too much and losing it in 32 minutes! The lesson is at no time wager more than you are able to lose. If you don't panic about squandering, you have a lot more chance of winning big!

What other ways can you increase your chances of succeeding at Roulette other than creating a budget? Never bet on individual numbers! Sure, they come up every once in a while, but they don't come up enough to guarantee a constant profit. Only bet on 1:1 wagers like black, red, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets e.g. first 12, second 12, third dozen, etc Bet on odds that pay fairly high.

With the basic rules reviewed, how else might we further boost our odds of winning at Roulette? By shifting probability into our ally, instead of our opposition. "You can not succeed at Roulette", my buddy Steve would say to me. "It is completely random because any number might come up". Sure, my friend Steve has a point, however at the same time, he is missing a significant part of the picture. I totally agree, red or black can be landed on thirty times in a row, but how often does that happen?
